The Fresh Paint team is honored to know so many dedicated organizations and nonprofits that have continued to serve those in need during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Ronald McDonald House didn’t skip a beat when they had to pause their 10,000-person strong volunteer program due to health and safety concerns with the coronavirus. Instead, they chose to communicate with the community through their “Love in Action – Meals Matter” campaign that they will continue to serve families in need, pandemic or not.

Love in Action – Meals Matter

Although the organization has not been able to welcome volunteers on-site since mid-March, they have remained dedicated to providing complimentary meals to family members facing a child’s health crisis, as well as lodging and support services. They have a small but mighty team dedicated to continuing to provide meals to families in need. This on-site food prep team works hard to “bulk cook” large quantities of complimentary meals and assembling healthy “grab and go” snack kits.

All of this would not be possible without the love and support shown through the financial and in-kind donations received from those in and around our community. You can learn more about the impact the Ronald McDonald House is making and donate to their cause here:
